This week marks the fourth anniversary of this site—and the launch of the fifth! I want to thank you for all the comments and emails I’ve received telling me how such-and-such blog post made a difference. Some of you have been with me since day one, but I’m thankful for each one of you who found this site along the way and joined me for the ride.
This site has been visited well over 300,000 times, and while that may be a drop in the bucket compared to other sites, I see 300,000+ times I have had the opportunity to challenege or encourage others to walk with Jesus and love Him more.
Would you give me an avenue to offer that same encouragement and challenge to others? If this site has been a benefit to you, share it with your friends and contacts. Encourage them to visit and subscribe. If need be, offer them a cookie. You know there’s no cost to subscribe, except for 5-10 minutes of your time twice a week. And it’s calorie-free!

Lynn, I use your information every Sunday in my Bible Study Class. You keep everything so human (good thing). You make us laugh a lot. Many times what you write could be all I need to lead my class. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Way back when I was in school, let’s just say, I didn’t like history. As an adult, however, I now wish I had paid better attention. Said that to say, I love your history lessons and how you bring everything back around to scripture. 💥
